What is the 3-month flextime system?
Until now, the maximum liquidation period was set at one month, but due to the enforcement of the Work Style Reform Law in April 2019, the maximum liquidation period is now three months.
By extending the liquidation period, it will be possible to adjust the working hours according to the convenience of the worker within the total working hours of the period of 2 months or 3 months . See below for more information.

Let's take the 3-month flextime system from April to June as an example.
■ Employee type setting> Monthly reference time setting
■ Time card
① Original criterion time
It is the "standard time for deformed work" set in "Monthly standard time setting".
② Carryover time to the previous month
This is the time carried forward within the settlement period. The carry-over time up to the previous month is displayed in the settlement month. In case of 3-month flextime system from April to June, it will be displayed on the time card for June of the liquidation month.
③ The remaining standard time at the beginning of the month
It is the total of the remaining standard time as of the beginning of the month.
April time card → Total base time for each month
Schedule application (including vacation application)
May time card → *Time subtracted from standard working hours and carry-over hours for April from 1
519 hours 54 minutes-(171 hours 24 minutes + 42 hours 53 minutes) = 305 hours 37 minutes (*2)
June time card → *Time subtracted from standard working hours and carry-over hours in May from *2
305 hours 37 minutes-(177 hours 6 minutes-10 hours 6 minutes) = 138 hours 37 minutes
④ Base time of the month
It is the standard time after carry-over. It may fluctuate in the last month of the liquidation period.
4.5.6 Total base time in June: 519 hours 54 minutes (*1)
April → Criterion time: 171 hours 24 minutes + Carryover time: 42 hours 53 minutes = 214 hours 17 minutes
May → Criterion time: 177 hours 6 minutes-Carryover time: 10 hours 6 minutes = 167 hours
In May, the working hours not settled in the current month was 381 hours 17 minutes (214 hours 17 minutes +167 hours),
The standard time for the current month of June, the last month, is as follows.
519 hours 54 minutes-381 hours 17 minutes = 138 hours 37 minutes
⑤ Standard time for liquidation in the current month
It is the "reference time to settle the current month" set in "Set monthly reference time".
⑥ Standard working hours
Working hours within the "standard time of the month". Months other than the liquidation month include "time deemed to have worked" for deduction adjustment when actual working hours are less than the "standard time of the month ".
★ When deduction is required

April 2019 Standard hours for deformed work 160 hours / Total quota for legal working hours-
May 2019 Modified work standard time 150 hours / Total legal work time frame 152 hours
April time card
If you have only 136 hours of actual work in April 2019, you will have 24 hours short of the standard 160 hours.
However, the total number of legal working hours in May of the following month is 152 hours, so you can only carry over 2 hours the following month.
Standard time for settlement of the month 160 hours-Standard working hours 138 hours = 22 hours
Deductions will be required in April for the missing 22 hours.
⑦ Carryover time
This is the time you can carry over to the last month of the settlement period.
April time card → It is time to exceed the original standard hours and reach the standard hours of the month
214 hours 17 minutes-171 hours 24 minutes = 42 hours 53 minutes
