If you cannot get the location information on your smartphone when using My Recorder or Mobile Browser Recorder, please try the following operations.
If you are using a mobile phone (feature phone), the solution will be different.
Please refer to " What should I do if my mobile phone (feature phone) cannot obtain location information? "
Introduction
First, check the settings on the management screen side.
Settings > Organization > Time recorder settings > [Edit] of each division or basic time recorder settings > "Mobile browser time-record・My Recorder Settings"> "Location acquisition mode"
In the above item, select "Obtain location info when time record". If you check "Disable time-records when location info cannot be obtained", time record will be possible only when location information can be obtained.
About error messages
The following are errors when the location information cannot be obtained. We will provide guidance on how to deal with each situation.
- Failed to get location information. It cannot be used because the accuracy of the obtained location information is low. (My recorder)
- The location information could not be obtained. Please refresh the screen. (Mobile browser recorder)
- Location information has timed out. Please refresh the screen. (My recorder)
- Timed out. Please refresh the screen. (Mobile browser recorder)
- Use of location information of the terminal is not permitted. (Common to My recorder and mobile browser recorder)
- The position of the terminal cannot be determined. Check the location information setting of the terminal. (Common to My recorder and mobile browser recorder)
*The display may differ depending on the terminal you are using.

- Failed to get location information.
- It cannot be used because the accuracy of the obtained location information is low. (My recorder)
- The location information could not be obtained. Please refresh the screen. (Mobile browser recorder)
Cause : When obtaining location information, the location information may not have been obtained correctly.
Example:
- You are in a place where location information is difficult to obtain, such as inside a building or where there are many obstructions.
- You are in a place where network is weak.
Countermeasure : Move to a place with good communication with no obstruction, and if Wi-fi use of the terminal is OFF, turn it ON and update the marking screen.
*If the Wi-Fi signal strength is weak, it may be difficult to obtain location information instead. In that case, please check the communication speed and try again.

- Location information has timed out. Please refresh the screen. (My recorder)
- Timed out. Please refresh the screen. (Mobile browser recorder)
Cause : Processing may have been interrupted because it took time to obtain location information.
Example:
- You are in a place where location information is difficult to obtain, such as inside a building or where there are many obstructions.
- You are in a place where network is weak.
Countermeasure : Move to a place with good communication with no obstruction, and if Wi-fi use of the terminal is OFF, turn it ON and update the marking screen.
*If the Wi-Fi signal strength is weak, it may be difficult to obtain location information instead. In that case, please check the communication speed and try again.

(Common to My recorder and mobile browser recorder)
Cause 1 : When connecting to the time recording screen, permission to use location information was denied.
→ Action 1 : Click the OS you are using.
Cause 2 : Use of location information service is restricted in the terminal settings.
→ Action 2 : Click the OS you are using.

- The position of the terminal cannot be determined. Check the location information setting of the terminal.

Cause : The use of location information may be restricted by the Android device settings.

What to do if you are using an iPhone (iOS)
If you disable the location information when connecting to the time recorder screen
* "Don't allow" is selected in the dialog for permission to use location information that appears when connecting to the stamp screen .
Please follow the steps below to reset your location and privacy.
(1) On the iPhone home screen, tap Settings> General.
(2) Tap "Reset".
(3) Tap Reset location and privacy.
(4) Enter your device passcode and tap Reset settings.
When the use of location information service is restricted in the terminal settings
Follow the procedure below to cancel the usage restrictions.
(1) On the iPhone home screen, tap Settings> Privacy.
(2) Turn on "Location service" (green).
"Do not use" on the right of the browser you are using (Safari, Google Chrome, etc.)
If it is displayed, tap it and select "In use only".
Allow location information on a site-by-site basis
If you want to allow location information acquisition on a site-by-site basis, follow the procedure below.
1. Open the target site in Safari
2. Tap the "Display" icon in the upper left
3. Tap "Website Settings"
4. Allow "location information"
What to do if you are using Android
If you disable the location information when connecting to the time recorder screen
For Google Chrome
* "Block" was selected in the dialog for permission to use location information displayed when connecting to the embossing screen .
Follow the steps below to authorize obtaining location information.
(1) Select the settings button (the button with three vertical dots) in the upper right corner of Google Chrome, and tap "Settings".
(2) Tap "Site Settings".
(3) Tap "Location information".
(4) Tap "https://s2.kingtime.jp" or " https://s3.kingtime.jp" displayed in the "Block" field .
(5) If the acquisition of location information is denied, "Block" is displayed in the "Authority" field, so tap "Access your current location".
(6) If you select “Allow”, obtaining location information on the time recorder screen will be permitted.
For Android standard browser
*Regarding the Android standard browser, we have not confirmed the operation on all terminals.
Follow the procedure below to clear location information access.
(1) Access the URL for stamping My Recorder/Mobile browser with the standard Android browser.
(2) Tap the menu button on your Android device to display Settings> Advanced settings> Website settings .
(3) Tap the target domain name "https://s2.kingtime.jp" or "https://s3.kingtime.jp".
(4) Tap "Clear location access".
When the use of location information service is restricted in the terminal settings
Follow the procedure below to cancel the usage restrictions.
(1) Tap the Settings icon, then tap Security & location.
(2) If the location information is OFF, tap it.
(3) Turn on "Use location information".
*Android functions differ depending on the device. This procedure is for devices with Android 9.0 or later. Check the version of Android you are using.
