What should I do if the fingerprint reader does not emit blue light and I cannot authenticate?

Below are some possible causes and solutions.

A reader is connected after starting the time recorder

Be sure to start the time recorder after connecting the authentication reader.

Reader is not authenticated due to poor contact

In this case, reconnecting the cable to another USB port may resolve the issue. If you have to constantly re-plug when restarting the PC , you can eliminate it by disabling selective suspend.

Insufficient power due to USB hub connection

If the device is connected via USB via a hub, the power supply may be insufficient and the reader may not function. In this case, please connect to the USB port of the PC or use a self-powered hub.

Driver not installed

Check if the driver has been installed correctly in the following places.

Windows Start Button> Control Panel> Programs and Features

[Applicable programs]

・Digital Persona Data Format Conversion RTE

・DigitalPersona One Touch for WindowsRTE

Or

The driver is broken

After removing the driver from Control Panel> Programs and Functions, reinstall it according to the time clock manual.
