I will explain the setting for recording deemed working hours when taking leave.
Please check first
There are two types of leave acquisition methods: old type: "use leave pattern" and new type: "use leave type".
The settings will change depending on which method is applied, so please refer to this to check your usage status.
In addition, "Use leave type" is applied to accounts issued after June 16, 2020 .

How to take leave In the case of "use pattern"
1. Settings > Schedule > Pattern settings > [Edit] for all- day vacation patterns (such as “paid leave”) > Click [Details] in the Leave Info> Enter the discretionary working hours and register.
* When taking full-day leave, this time will be counted as discretionary leave time.

Calculate as discretionary working hours by employee type or "contract working hours per day" set for each employee | The "contracted working hours per day" registered in the employee type setting or employee setting is counted as discretionary working hours. 2. Settings > Schedule > Pattern settings >[Edit] of work patterns (such as “normal work”) > Half-day work category > [Settings] of AM work pattern > Enter the Discretionary half-day vacation work hours (PM):
* When taking half-afternoon leave, this time will be counted as discretionary leave time.

"Contracted working hours per day x 0.5 (rounded up to the nearest whole number)" set for each employee type or employee is regarded as working hours without half-say PM leave. | The time obtained by multiplying the "contracted working hours per day" registered in the employee type setting or employee setting by 0.5 is recorded as deemed working hours. If both are registered, the employee settings values will be applied. |
3. Similarly, [Settings] for PM work pattern> Enter the Discretionary half-day vacation work hours (AM):
* When taking half a day off, this time will be counted as discretionary leave time.
4. Settings > Employees > Employee type settings > [Edit] >Click [Details] in the leave-related category > Half-day leave and hourly leave were taken by adding to the specified time when taking half-day leave / hourly leave, check and register the leave category to which you want to add discretionary working hours.

・ After setting, to reflect the change in the past aggregated data, recalculate the attendance data .
・ In the case of "use of leave pattern", discretionary working hours can only be counted as "fixed hours".
How to take leave In the case of "use of leave type"
1. Settings > Schedule > Leave Type settings > [Edit] for the relevant category > Register the Calculate Discretionary Holiday Work Hours as [Calculate].
If you select "Calculate", the discretionary leave time will be added to the working hours. If you select "Calculate only each leave type", it will not be added to the working hours and only the "Discretionary leave time" will be recorded. This time can be added to the layout in the export menu or custom data item settings (for example, "paid hours").
When setting for each employee type
You can set whether to calculate the discretionary working hours for each employee type. In this case, set the following items.
Settings > Employees > Employee type settings > [Edit] >Click [Details] in the Leave-related category> Set the discretionary vacation time
If "discretionary leave hours" is set in both the leave type setting and the employee type setting, the employee type setting is applied.
2. Settings > Schedule > Pattern settings > [Edit] of work patterns (such as “normal work”)> Click [Details] of Plan> Set the discretionary working hours.

Use this when the scheduled time of clock in and clock out (core time) does not match the discretionary hours due to flex work. |
3. Half-day work category> Click [Settings] in the following items.
- "Add AM work pattern"
- "Add PM work pattern"
4. Set the discretionary working hours.

About the timing when discretionary working hours are recorded
Discretionary working hours are calculated after the day you take the leave. If you plan to take the leave in a future day, it will not be counted until that day.
