You can create your own leave such as public holidays and work-related accident leave.

Checklist

First of all, please check the following two points.

 

1. About the difference between "addition" and "subtraction"

Select either "Addition" or "Subtraction" as the leave calculation method. This article describes how to create an "additional" leave. Learn how to create a "subtractive" leave.

 

Addition

Select this when you want to manage only the acquisition date and the number of days without managing the "remaining days" of the leave. There is no need to grant leave.

 

Subtraction

Please select when managing the "remaining days" of the leave. It is possible to manage the number of remaining days, grant date, grant days, acquisition date, and acquisition days.

 

2. Find out how to take a leave in your environment

There are two types of leave acquisition methods: old type: "use leave pattern" and new type: "use leave type". The settings differ depending on which method is applied, so please check the usage status of your company by referring to the following article. In addition, "Use leave type" is applied to accounts issued after June 16, 2020.

Setting method (in the case of leave acquisition method "use pattern")

Old type: I will explain the settings when using "Use leave pattern".

 

1. Create a leave segment

Create a leave pattern from Settings > Schedule > Leave Type Settings > [New Registration] . As an example, I will explain the procedure for creating a "public holiday". Please enter and register as follows.

  • Name : "Public holiday" etc.
  • Leave Balance Adjustments : "Addition"

2. Create a pattern

Create a schedule pattern to use for taking leave.

 

Create a full-day vacation pattern by selecting Settings > Schedule > Pattern Creation > [+ New Registration]. Please enter and register as follows.

  • Pattern code : Enter any code.
  • Pattern name : Enter the leave name (for example, "public holiday").
  • Schedule type : Select "All day vacation".
  • Vacation unit : Select "All day".
  • Vacation Category : Select the leave type you created.

please note
Since "Schedule type" and "Vacation category" can be selected only at the time of new registration, be sure to create a pattern from the [New registration] button.
If you edit an existing pattern or duplicate it from [Register with another name], the pattern may not be created correctly.

4. Assign a pattern

You can get leave by assigning the created pattern to the corresponding day. Click here for how to assign . Automatic scheduling is also useful. Click here for details.

 

5. Check the aggregation result

By creating a vacation category, "public holiday" will be added to the number of days total column on the time card screen. You can check the number of vacation days taken within that month.

New type: I will explain the settings when using "Use vacation classification".

 

1. Create a leave type

Create a leave type from Settings > Schedule > Leave Type Settings > [New Registration] . As an example, I will explain the procedure for creating a "public holiday". Please enter and register as follows.

  • Name : "Public holiday" etc.
  • Leave Balance Adjustments : "Addition"
  • Calculate Discretionary Holiday Work Hours : "Don't calculate"

The leave types are displayed in the order of registration .
When using the leave type method "Use leave type"
Work data editing and schedule application screen > "Vacation category" item > The display order in "Type" is also the registration order.
Please note that you cannot change it later.

 

2. Assign a vacation category

In the vacation category of the relevant day, the type "public holiday" and the acquisition unit "all-day leave" are assigned. Please refer to here for the allocation method . Automatic scheduling is also useful. Click here for details.

 

3. Check the aggregation result

By creating a vacation category, "public holiday" will be added to the number of days total column on the time card screen. You can check the number of vacation days taken within that month.
