Checklist
First of all, please check the following two points.
1. About the difference between "subtraction" and "addition"
There are two ways to calculate vacation: "addition" and "subtraction". This article describes how to create an "additional" vacation.

2. Find out how to take a vacation in your environment
There are two types of leave acquisition methods: old type: "use leave pattern" and new type: "use leave type". The settings differ depending on which method is applied, so please refer to this to check your usage status.
* "Use leave type" is applied to accounts issued after June 16, 2020.
Setting method (in the case of vacation acquisition method "use leave pattern")
Old type: I will explain the settings when using "Use leave pattern".
1. Create a leave type
Create a leave type from Settings> Schedule> Leave Type Settings> [New Registration] . As an example, I will explain the procedure for creating a "condolence leave". Please enter and register as follows.
- Name : "Keiho vacation" etc.
- Leave Balance Adjustments: "subtraction"
- Effective period : Please enter according to your company's work rules, such as "3 days after grant"

2. Create a pattern
Create a schedule pattern to use for taking leaves.
Create a full-day leave pattern by selecting Settings> Schedule> Create pattern> [+ New registration]. Please enter and register as follows.
- Pattern code : Enter any code.
- Pattern name : Enter the vacation name (for example, "Congratulations vacation").
- Schedule type : Select "All day leave".
- Vacation unit : Select "All day".
- Vacation Category : Select the vacation category you created.

Since "Schedule type" and "Vacation category" can be selected only at the time of new registration, be sure to create a pattern from the [New registration] button.
If you edit an existing pattern or duplicate it from [Register with another name], the pattern may not be created correctly.
3. Grant the remaining number of leaves
In the case of subtraction type vacation, it is necessary to grant the number of remaining leave days. Please refer to here for the grant method .
4. Assign a pattern
You can get a vacation by assigning the created pattern to the corresponding day. Click here for how to assign .
5. Check the aggregation result
By creating a leave type, "Keisei vacation" will be added to the number of days total column on the time card screen. You can check the number of leave days taken within that month.

Supplement: About the function of giving paid leave, substitute leave, and public holidays
Paid holidays, substitute holidays, and holidays are provided with functions for granting.
- Paid leave: It can be granted by the "paid leave grant function". Click here for details .
- Substitute leave: You can automatically increase the remaining number by going to work on holidays. Click here for details .
- Public holiday: You can automatically increase the remaining number by transferring work. Click here for details .
