Currently, there are two types of leave acquisition methods: pattern usage type and leave usage type. The settings differ depending on which method you are using, so please check the article below.
* The default when issuing an account after June 16, 2020 is "Use leave type setting".

When taking leave
When using vacation method "use pattern"
Create a pattern and assign a schedule.

Click Settings > Schedule > Pattern Settings > [+ New Registration].
- Pattern name
Please enter "leave of absence" etc. - Schedule type
Full-day vacation - Vacation unit
All day - Leave type
Absence
After entering, click [Register].

It is also possible to create a leave category for leave instead of the leave category "absence". In that case, set >Schedule >Leave category settings > Create a holiday category from [+ New registration] and assign a dedicated leave category when creating a pattern.
Assign a schedule
Click the button in the "Edit" column for all menus > Schedule management > Leave.
Select the pattern created earlier in "Copy source schedule", check the "Copy" column, assign a schedule, and click the [Register] button.
When the scheduled date arrives, you will get one day of absence.
When using leave method "use leave type"
Create a leave indicator and assign a schedule.

Click Settings > Schedule > Vacation Category Settings > [+ New Registration].
- Leave category name
Please enter "leave of absence" etc. - Half-day vacation
do not apply - Leave Balance Adjustments
Add - Leave Type-only Schedule Request
You can apply by entering only the vacation category
After entering, click [Register].
Assign a schedule
Click the button in the "Edit" column for all menus > Schedule management > Leave.
Copy source schedule> In "Leave type" of detailed item setting
- Type: Leave
- Credits: All-day vacation
Select, check the "Copy" column, assign a schedule, and click the [Register] button.
When returning to work
Click the button in the "Edit" column for all menus > Schedule management > Leave.
Allocate and register the work schedule that was used before taking leave.
